Dragon Blades down Razorgore for the first time!
Congratulations to everyone that kept showing up, ready for a few wipes. Thanks VERY MUCH to everyone who came prepared, with potions and everyone who donated for the flasks!

Woot to da Blades!! Guys we have been doing great as of late. Thanks to all who are helping the Blades progress!
New raid schedule: This schedule appears to be helping alot. We have had our fullest Ony runs ever and BWL has been full as well. We will continue this until Bosses fall in BWL and we need to adjust.
BWL: Great progress here as well guys. Two weeks in a row we have gotten to phase 2 on Razorgore. We will get him this week!!! Just as with Ossi, once strat firmly in place we will rock. Try to bring some aracane protection pots and damage pots this week so we can blast the guy.
Ossi/Hakkar Loot: We have posted the new way these 2 items will be handed out. Please see the Member forums. Thanks Scoz/Brut!! Remember with the new 30 day running total, those 5 points earned from mats donations become alot more important!!
DBRP revisions: We will be implementing some changes to our policy no later than monday, please stay tuned. Possible changes include, Cap, How raid points earned, etc.

This week the Blades took another big step forward in the raid progression chain; we had out first official Black Wing Lair Raid! Exciting times! And we didn’t look like a guild that had never set foot in there either. On our very first attempt, we cleared down to 10 eggs remaining, and got down to 8 after that. This is a point many guilds are happy to be at after weeks of attempts. To get there on our first try; with over 80% of the raid never having seen the encounter before, is simply awesome! We’ve still got work to do before we can dance on a Razergore corpse, but we’re well on our way. We’re also getting very good at Ragnaros, we’ve dropped him 4 of the last 5 weeks (and had him to 1% the 5th week). Every week we clear MC, we get a better geared raid group, making all our raids a little bit easier.
This week also marked the start of our new Points-for-Mats program. Every week you can earn up to 5 raid points by turning in materials we need for our raiding war machine. We’ve been spending upwards of 500g a week on FR pots, Flasks for Rag, etc. While we have a fair stash of gold and materials we can sell, it won’t last long at that rate. By pulling together and each using our various professions, we can save a lot of gold, and make our big-boss attempts smooth wins. Check the list of mats we need each week (linked on the menu bar, by the current points standings link) and get them in by Tuesday to get credit for that week. Herbs are the biggest need, but there are needs for skinners and miners too, plus gold donations, so every member can help in some way. Farming isn’t always the most fun, but it’s something everyone needs to help with. And an extra 5 points a week is like an extra boss kill, upping your chances for that next big drop you’ve gotta have!

Also, remember we start BWL next Tuesday. Get attuned and be there! Remember we will start rotating BWL and Onyxia, whenever possible (Due to reset schedule). Stay tuned to Raid Signup for dates. |
