Blood Death Knights make excellent main and off tanks due to their damage mitigation and high aggro output. When set up properly they can make a healers like a breeze and keep them from burning mana trying to keep the tank from being facerolled. They are also (in my opinion) the best AoE/multi-add tanks due to their diseases, Death and Decay and Heart Strike. They are able to taunt off the main tank and build aggro quickly so they make good off tanks for fights like Argaloth. I enjoy them because they are a fun non-conventional tank class; I feel there is much more that goes into being a Death Knight tank than any other tanking class. Not to say I don't appreciate the other tanking classes but I just find Death Knights to be the most exciting. My rotation is; open with diseases, spread diseases, Death Strike, and Heart Strike unless my blood runes are needed in other ways. The rest is fairly situational.
5. Please list your average play times that you are usually online during the week and during the weekend. You should be specific. Official DB raids are Tue-Thur-Sat 6st-10st; Will you be able to make all of the raid times? If not, why?
I'm on a good portion of the week. The raid times are not a problem for me to attend. If for some reason I am unable to make a raid time I'll make sure someone knows as soon as possible.
6. List your past guilds and your reason for leaving, starting with the most recent.
Muffin Men, Joined because a friend was in there and it was a guild to join when I came back over to the Horde. Knights of the Runes, Changed back over to horde. Enshadowed, Changed over to the Alliance to play with some real life friends and because the guild wasn't fulfilling my raiding desires. Bad Company, The guild merged with Enshadowed.
7. What is your goal in joining the Dragon Blades and what can you contribute to the guild?
I'd like to raid and be part of a good, smooth working guild again. I am a friendly person. I like to help out and do things with guildies.(runs, quests, achievements, etc...) I have max Enchanting and Jewel Crafting and am always willing to set up guildies with whatever they need. I have an overall good attitude and understand that not every run and every boss battle isn't going to go perfectly, people and computers mess up and if we wipe then we get back up and try again. (rage quitting is for noobz)
8. How did you hear about the Dragon Blades? If you heard from a friend, then who is your friend.
I remembered Dragon Blades being a big progression raiding guild so when I saw Michan posting in trade chat that you were recruiting I jumped at the opportunity.
9. Are you applying for a Raider position or a Casual position? (Casual members will only be used to fill raids on nights that there are not enough Raiders).

11b. Please give an example of a raid boss fight from the above instances where your class and spec excels or benefits the raid greatly and explain why.
Argaloth; Death Knights are excellent at taunting the boss after a Meteor Strike and building aggro quickly off the previous tank.
Magmaw; Death Knights make quick work of the adds that spawn and if main tanking have amazing mitigation for the maul
Defense system (whatever its called with Toxitron); If the other tank goes down Death Knights are good at picking up the other active boss and holding time until the other tank can be battle rezd.

I'm 21. I've been playing WoW for years. I'm a gamer and enjoy most any type of game. I take care of my sick mother and sister, due to that I've decided to pursue a career in the medical field.
