Team Dragon returned to Karazhan on Saturday night and acheived a glorious victory over the metal monstrosity known as the Curator by ignoring commonly used strategies and trying a completely different approach. We tasted the sweet nectar of our first Tier 4 piece, moved on though the spectral horrors of the Guardian's Library and into the Chess event where we easily checkmated the Alliance king.
Last news from Team Blades indicated that they were becoming increasingly profficent at attempts on Moroes but due to a lack of a consistant roster were having difficulties in overcoming the undead castellan.
Many of our members are still in need of getting their key for Karazhan. Please don't hesitate to ask for assistance as we need more troops to balance out our teams or even create a third squad eventually.

Another raid, another new Karazhan boss. The Blades sent the Crone and her Oz-lings packing on Tuesday night, and relieved her of her sweet lootz. And that’s in addition to downing Attumen, Moroes, and the Maiden, all in a single run. The Curator is sweating little metal pellets as we prepare to head back to take a can opener to his shiny metal hiney on Thursday. We had enough online to make a second team, which took several solid cracks at Moroes. Thursday’s signups already have us at nearly 2 full groups, so sign up now if you want in; I expect 20+ in attendance.

In Karazhan Saturday the undead Maiden of Virtue was made re-dead (?) by the Blades raid machine. For those keeping track, that's 4 Karazhan bosses off'ed so far, 3 for the first time this week. We’re really on a roll now! We also made several solid attempts on the Curator, and are getting a feel for what it's going to take to get him down, I expect to be posting about him soon! We're also hoping to expand this success this week by splitting our raid groups up more evenly so both instances can see equal progress. Sign up, show up, and come see the bosses fall!

Another Blades first this week as the Dragon Blades bravely faced and defeated the Big Bad Wolf in Karazhan (ok, some raid members were seen to be running around the stage like frightened little girls. Even after the event. >.>) Awesome job all! And in another milestone, Thursday was our first night running 2 full Karazhan raids! We got caught by surprise when a pile of people signed up in the last couple days, so our second group got a later start, but still brought Attumen down and made significant progress on Moroes. We’ll be running two teams from now on, so sign up! The number of available slots and loot drops just doubled. Woot Blades!

Continuing progression-wise through Karazhan, the Blades defeated Moroes and his band of merry adds yesterday, with one of the oddest class combinations yet tried for the zone. To celebrate the success, all Moroes's epics were sharded, signifying his own destruction and in no way a comment on the value of the drops themselves (or lack thereof). |
